Hello! Hello, fellow mompreneurs!
I hope you have found the previous posts in this series helpful!
Here is Part 3 and the last two warning signs that you may be treating your business like a hobby.
Hobbies are fun… but remember you started this business venture to help you achieve financial freedom and deep down you really want to make some money, right?
It’s ok to admit that! You’re an aspiring boss babe!
You are valuable and you should expect to be compensated for the value you provide.
6. You Are Not Consistent
In addition to having your work hours scheduled, a daily action plan is also non-negotiable.
Take 15 minutes each day to write out three tasks that you need to accomplish that day.
Stick to these three categories to ensure your activities are balanced and remain profit producing.
- People: Select 1 task that involves improving your client experience (making follow up calls to clients etc.)
- Product: Select 1 task that involves promoting your service or gaining new clients
- Process: Select 1 task that helps involves organizing or working on strategies that promote efficiency
Remember simplicity is key so keep it simple and focused.
TIP: Set the timer for each task and give yourself 30 min – 1 hour depending on your schedule. When the timer is up, its time to move on to the next task.
7. You Don’t Invest Money in a Coach/Mentor or Business Growth Strategies
In order to offer amazing value and content to your target market, you should always be growing both personally and professionally.
This means you have to continue to learn new ideas, products, and strategies!
It’s crucial to find a mentor to help you expand your vision. If you can’t find a mentor, you can hire a coach, or join a mastermind group in your area!
You can even start your own mastermind group with colleagues or join a networking business meetup in your area.
I am a huge believer in personal growth and am always looking for ways to expand my knowledge, experience, and network, even if that means you pay for the support!
If you are willing to invest in yourself and your business then you are taking your dream
seriously and are headed on the right path!
You got this! Don’t get overwhelmed by the work. Nothing worthy comes easy and you are more than capable of achieving your dream. Don’t. Give. Up.
